Not going to compare What's Up to anything.... scout's honor. I have to think poor Daesung too. LOL!

I'll have to catch up now that I have subs. I'm SO behind with everything except 'Just You'. Gah, who'd thought I'd get obsessed with a daily?! Not me, that's for sure.

LOL! Not your cup of tea, I'm sure. It's a loooong (100+) epi family drama which I picked up solely for Suh Joon Young. I love the boy! It's his 1st lead role and he's ever so cute in this. I'm all caught up at ep 48 now and surprisingly not bored at all. It hasn't gone crazy makjangy on me either but if it ever does I'll drop it like a hot potato. Severe makjang-allegy these days, you see. I started watching it raw and still do, though I'm also doing a 2nd round with the subbed KBSW episodes to see what I missed. So yeah, I'm well and truly hooked. I'll probably write a totally biased, silly post about it one of these days. It's been brewing for a while now....

TOLD YOU! Isn't just everything we dreamed about and more? The only complaint I might have is that the editing can be a bit choppy but that's such a minor thing in SEA OF AWESOME THINGS. Daesung! Im Joo-hwan! Oh Man-suk! SO MANY WONDERFUL THINGS. *sigh*

I get SO twitchy when it gets compared to Dream High or Heartstrings. (Nothing against either of those dramas--they both had their good points). I doesn't compute that you really could compare them beyond the fact that they all have music has a main plot point. Just...*shrug*

Right? And what really irritates me is that What's Up was filmed before either of them, it just lacked a network to pick it up because......... Korea is full of tasteless morons?? Anyway, when people compare them it reminds me of Twilight fans bitching that The Vampire Diaries "totally ripped it off." FUTURE MENSA MEMBERS RIGHT THERE.

I did lol when OMS' character was like "OKAY, CLASS OF 2011!" Party hard, you guys! The future is coming sooner than you think!

I guess editing is one of the first things to go wonky when you edit an hour show down to 45-ish minutes. I do love the little snippets at the end though. They make me chuckle. =)

It still boggles my mind that it didn't get picked up for so long. Nothing makes sense so maybe the PD pissed off somebody. Who knows?

I spent ep six thinking "hey, I could ship that" and then I reached the end and I was like "OH MY GOD THEY WANT ME TO SHIP THAT." (They do, don't they? I'm not misreading some innocent mentor-ly guidance on OMS' part?)

OMG YES!! I love it so much I bask in it litteraly. I love every character which is crazy and I have this huge soft spot for Kim Byung Gun (the quirky nervous complete train-wreck heir ^^).
THAT GREASE PERF OWNS ME.

YESSSSS omg I love EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, EVEN THE CRAZY-EYED ACTRESS WHO I'M PRETTY SURE IS GONNA SNAP AND SHANK SOMEONE. I think Doo Ri is my favorite, though I'm really ridiculously invested in Jae Hun/Tae Hee and poor doomed Daesung. I also really like that hot composer/musician guy whose sole purpose is to appear at random intervals and be hot.

Doo-Ri is awesome!! That moment she appears you're like "oh such a cute doll" and then BAM! She goes all Wednesday Addams on you. Love her XD.

Also this is a drama with the rare case of perfect orgy. I can ship anyonexanyone. Boys, girls, teacher. EVERYTHING WORKS. That's how I know I won't even be disappointed in that aspect when it comes to the ending.

I'd seen the preview so I knew she was going to cut her hair, but I still didn't expect her to be so... badass. Just her tone and her mannerisms and even the way she struts. PERFECTION.

i was intrigued - and then baffled. is this also about kids trying to get famous? THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE SHOW ABOUT THAT, WOLF, ONE, AND THAT SHOW'S NAME IS FAME STAR SEARCH GLEE? DOES GLEE COUNT? DREAM HIGH.

(number of korean dramas i've seen: one. name of that drama: dream high. XD this should change in a week when i visit a friend - we're aiming to watch at least one more, if not two, but we also have various jdramas and arashi things to watch!!)
