waaaaait, it also features my favorite up-tight ajussi of Oh My Lady?!
If he plays the ex this is creeping steadily up the list of things I must start soonish... Seo Do's actor is pretty high up on my list of character acting comics, too, he was ridiculously good at ridiculous in Fugitive Plan: B
RE: your tag I think that taste is important in everything except television--when picking a drama, there is no point in picking for anything but your own amusement at others' expense XD
Oh my god, yes! I knew I recognized him somewhere! Awww, now that makes two dramas where he gets to watch Chae Rim run off in someone else's arms.
Seo Do is actually the ex, and he's... idk. He's supposed to be funny but he's a CHEATER and that makes me look at all his goofy moments and just think CHEATER, FUCK OFF AND DIE SOMEWHERE, CHEATER. The only exception so far has been his anxiety over his ass virginity because that's just hilarious.

Oh no. He's the new-but-married boyfriend? SNAPS THIS SOUNDS LIKE KLEENEX.
Cheaters annoy me. I pretty much dismiss them from the radar and then am left wondering why they're still around when a drama insists on bringing them around... And yet, I'm actually quite interested in the k-drama I Need Romance BECAUSE she gets back together with her ex. Go figure. Anything to make me want more drama, I guess.
In Personal Taste, I was won over to think the cheater ex was just an idiot and somewhat lovable in a bent way, but that was also a specially good treatment of character development.
I have mixed feelings about drama infidelity. I can see the wiggle room in things like married-by-obligation or separated-but-still-legally-married (which is New Boyfriend's case) but when it comes to a cheater who willingly deceives two people in order to reap the benefits of dating both? That just crosses a line for me. That's when I start going FUCK OFF, CHEATER.
Apparently the Dal Ja guy gets better, though, so I'll have to keep an eye on him.

Seo Do is my favorite, and I love that they didn't make him the typical asshole ex. Same with Seon Joo - I LOVE that she didn't end up in typical secondary girl format.
Hey I just thought I'd say I discovered your big bang pimp post a while back and its awesome! so thorough and now i finally know why TOP never reveals his body XD (oh man what a shock i had when i saw his old pics!) just uh thought you should know. :Dv
Ahahaha - I forgot how hilarious this moment was! :D
I know you hate Seo Do but eventually it really becomes impossible as things progress. He turns from the player in control to insecure, love-sick, angsting dope!
Oh god, I remember that part!! I laughed till I cried and almost peed in my pants. I'd forgotten how bloody funny the beginning of Dal Ja is.... until the angst hits.
Seo Do starts out as a total ass but he has a pretty steep learning curve and ends up kinda awesome. I remember the 'girlfriend-y' converstions he has with Dal Ja later on. Hilarious.
RIGHT?? It was already funny, but when secondary dude showed up at the door I was just in stitches. AND THEN HER MOM AND GRANDMA. LOLOLOLOL. "I like that one..." "But the other one has manners!" DAL JA'S LIFE.
I hope you know you've made me properly anxious about the angst now, THANKS.
Oh noes, sorry... but it had to be said. Unless you were lured into thinking that this is the one k-drama that does NOT have angst. I've begun to think it's impossible for Koreans to make an angst free drama. I mean, angst practically writes itself in no matter what they try to do. You are also about to meet The Biotch in the not too distant future...
Luckily there's plenty of good stuff before that. Like this one part which I may or may not have watched x times, ahem. All I'm saying is 'fireworks'. ;P
I knew some angst was inevitable but the drama is just so light and funny right now that it's hard to imagine what they have to chase buses about. I'm holding out hope that Tae Bong is an ex-hooker, though.
