Generally speaking, when the sign says "prohibited" "no admittance beyond..." "by order of..." etc. I stay away. It is part of my nature. A character trait that has defined - and limited - me, for a very long time

Paines Prairie is supposed to have buffalo roaming about on it somewhere. See any on your excursion? :)

No but I saw a whole family of dear, sadly my non-silent strides startled them away before I could take a photo, I also saw a raptor, a carrion feeder, and an armadillo, and I heard froggies and other Nanimals. =)

It was wonderful.
