Furlough Approaching...

So much for my uber stable government job.
I used to joke about how as long as you paid taxes I got a paycheck.
I forgot about the part where everyone has to agree (house, congress, etc) to authorize the damn treasury funds.

Do I think it will happen? Possibly, but hopefully just long enough for those involved to rattle their sabers and shout "see

And I'm sure they'll do everything they can to make sure that those who are left without pay now will not have to go into their savings for too long. And as you say, it's the right thing to do, anyway.
