Finally: COLOGNE YFC 2011 REPORT

YFC - Cologne July 23 2011

So, after a friend cancelled on short notice and I was stuck with an extra card, another friend told me on the day before the live that she would come with me. She does neither know GACKT nor does she listen to this kind of music.

Anyway, we arrived at the venue at 2 p.m., one our later than planned

Thanks a lot for the report from your point of view. I'm happy that you also had the impression the crowd mood was so great despite a few single unsupportive comments about the new line up and that I'm not the only one who had the impression the band was very happy about it

thanks for the report. I'm really excited to see how Jon and Gackt do as a team. I really like Jon's voice.

wth?! really, how can fanservice in a j-rock band be anything but gay?! that's the whole point of it!!

I just drooled allover when I saw some pics of Jon and Gackt in the photobook. they do look hot together like that =P

I wanted to ask you, the press member was a staff member? do you know what media did she represent?

No, she was no staff member. G only allows Japanese press to cover his tour here so I think she must be working for one of the bigger mags (like Arena etc.). But no idea which mag exactly. :(

The show was amazing!! and although I first was a bit sceptical about this new concept, now I think it is awesome! Not to say that I love to see G "alone" on stage, but seriously, didn't G himself say about the press conference, he didn't think people are taking this so very serious!?

I can only say, I had a really great time - it kinda felt different to Bochum last year? - but great none the less! G and J interactting was really fun to watch...

and I think you a right about the atmosphere around the SYH song...

I think they felt our souls and hearts!^^

I just wish more people would get the "not serious"-part. Most take it too serious and complain constantly about "I paid for G and this was not the traditional G!"

When I hear this, I keep on thinking "Oh, reaaaally?? Maybe you should actually listen to what he says because then you would have gotten that this is NOT Gackt but YFC!". Then they come up with arguments like "If this is a new band then why do they play Gackt songs?" *headdesk* I'll stop arguing with such people that no matter what find reasons to nag constantly... *sighs*

But I'm glad you enjoyed it too. :) I hope Amsterdam today will be anything remotely like Cologne. ^^

You are so right with this! Sadly enough ther'll always be people nagging...

I wish you the best of times in Amsterdam. I wish I could go again!! Thought about going to Berlin, but without money, what can you do?! *sigh*

It wasn't a brown Nintendo DS by the way ??? lol Because there was a guy in france who was taking pics of the band outside with a nintendo DS ... xDDD

I guess the "do you want me ?" part come from paris actually, because for the first show, he didn't made that, but since he saw that people enjoyed that mistakes, he worked to make it again for the others, funny ! xD
