Well I must have missed this post and when I decided to check back on some of your posts and read up on you I was surprised to find this. I have to responsed due to the fact that you are do not understand what you are talking about, and speak against my beloved pope. Granted I do not need to defend him because he speaks on the side of truth, but nonetheless I hope you might, through my words get a better understanding. I have to be honest I might not know all the answers, but I will give you my take. Please take no offense by this, this is done just to comment on what you said, perhaps to balance out your opinion which you of course are entitled to have with the opinion of perhaps a practicing Catholic with a back ground if reading, and interest in the mention topic

You take a very general statement it and try to also apply it to areas he of course was not talking about which is Christian rock. He never said all rock music in anti-religion. Although I have heard some Christians sounds do this too. He is speaking about those who take the gift of music, in this case rock music, and turn it into a weapon to attack either the church directly or indirectly her teachings

Seriously, this I thought was probably the least of the troubling comments. I think it is basically say that Europe is trying to hard to be to one that its losing its unique culture. Its okay to celebrate other cultures but one should not let that take away their own culture, their own faith. Multiculturalism can be a great thing but if its used as a shield or heaven from one own culture, they deny who they are and risk the fall of their way of life. It can cause identity issues that can affect their society
