As of noon today, Whfs turned into Wzol. Nobody at the station knew about it until 10:45 this morning. Even the General Manager had no idea. The jocks were all let go, our promotion team is gone. It sucks bad. Real bad. Everyone around here is devastated. It wasn't a station decision it was a big man in Cali's decision. The spanish market is suppose to be huge in dc and is going to make the radio big wigs a lot of money. I get to sell spanish radio, and I don't even know spanish.
