My ex used to look all the time. I have no problem knowing that he looked at other girls, as I, though i loved him very much, would also check out other guys and girls, for purely asthetic purposes. It happens, and its natural. But what I *HATED* was that he would check out girls right in front of me, up to even turning his head as we walked. So I started doing the same. To girls. And he and I had similar taste in girls. He would get so mad when I would do that, (he had some sort of problem with the whole 'i like girls and guys' thing) esp. when he'd find me looking at the same girl as him. Unfortunatly, that didn't deter him from checking out other girls in my presence. But he, like most boys, was an ass.
