I didnae think he could go a day without it. But I am plesantly surprised that he stopped when he did.

Not everyone comes back from the dead so easily. Some routines may be a little too hard to slip back into instantly.

I've seen the bruises. They're nae natural.

I know the monster who did this to him. For anyone who is interested.

How much of Atem is still Atem? How much is not?
What has happened to him?
What has he become?
What are the effects of this?

Then I will answer them direct.

He is still Atem. His thoughts and feelings are all still his. For the moment. He needs to feed on human blood regularly for the first month or only the lust to feed will remain. Or my blood. But blood.

He has been turned into a vampire. He was attacked by accident. A lapse in judgement. An oversight as I hadnae fed properly.

There shouldnae be any ill effects unless he doesnae feed.

I am his sire.
