If it'd be an issue with work, I'd suggest waiting until you're in a position where your hairstyle isn't going to matter. :8/ Personally, I've been wanting to dye my hair red, blue, and yellow for years, but I always end up working jobs where it would be very much frowned upon.

I saw a lady in the health store yesterday that had a smooth-shaved head. I actually had to remind myself not to stare, she was so pretty. ^_^;; If work will let you go ahead with it, and people who know what you look like think it'll look good on you, then go for it. :D It's just hair, it'll grow back, and if worst comes to worst hats are fun.

I have intent to ask work if it would be okay to do so once my one month probation is over (probably ststing it's for charity, as its more of an incentive for them to let me). I am a membership recruiter - ie in busy periods I actvely try to sell NT memberships, whereas in not-so busy periods I'm there for general info and for membership if people ask...so bald may be a problem, but surely there's no harm in asking? Problem with what charity to go for though - if I did do it, I would prefer to do it just for putzy, and myself to finally get it done, but somehow I dont think work will be impressed by a personal reason.

Thanks for the support.

Seen a couple girls with shaved heads, can't say I think it looks good but if you want too you should at least try.

Perhaps just go as short as you safely can for work and see how you feel. That is what I have done and once people got used to it, I began to go shorter.

I have considered that, but not in depth. I suppose my going from bum-length hair to above the shoulder if the first step. Thanks.
