So, the Week of Work got off to a good start. Sunday early AM flight to LA, no problem. LA gig at E3 was super easy, looked good, client was happy. I'm at the office trying to bang out this drawing that really really needs to get done today. It's not rocket science, but my brain is all sorts of short-circuiting. I can't concentrate for more than a few minutes at a time. Sickness-wise I'm feeling much better, but my mind is just not here.

it's a nice day off for the 4th and I'm sick. I've had a little head cold for the last couple of weeks but I thought it was on the way out. I'm at the Personal Democracy Forum conference. The audience is almost all blogging nerds.
More than half of the libaries are not password protected. Funny. -
re: Chinese food.
Thanks for all of the recommendations the other night. It was late so we ended up staying local in the Slope. Went to Bogata on 5th Ave Central American fare, which I highly recommend.
We'll hit up the Chinese another time. -

Wind Power in NYC?
Sorting through my mail, I came across a notice from ConEd (the electric utility) offering the opportunity to switch to wind generated power. The cost? an extra 2.5 cents per kilowatt, or an average of 10% additional cost (their claim). My supply charge (separate from the delivery charge) last month was 11.6066 cents/kWh ( Read more... )
