Holiday Projects: And now I can wake up to a happy sight everyday!
Three weeks into the vacation, of which the first two were still tied up in work (where was the break really?!), and the blessing that was Dome DVD in the last week!
With all the squealing online (myself included here!), I promised myself to work on two "projects", one of which has been completed, and the other is still WIP.
Project #1:
Scrounging around the house revealed a freeboard calendar that I decided to make use of, especially in light of the numerous mags I had sitting around the house. After much selecting / drawing / cutting / laminating, this is the result: my very own Arashi-themed customizable calendar!
No work obligations will go on this cos I've got enough reminders in my daily planner, but a nice reminder of maintaining a life outside of work. LOL.

Project #2:
The continuation of my first chaptered fanfic! "Thunderstorms and Tempest" has been a daunting ride, and hardly an easy one. Enjoyable, but scary attempt (on hindsight) to start fic-writing with a chaptered attempt too! Writing has been partially a plotted-out, yet also by-the-seat-of-my-pants process. While the next part is still not yet completed (partially also distracted due to Dome DVD-inspired writing), it's definitely in progress. Original target was to finish two (hopefully final!) parts before my two weeks' break is over, but reality / Dome DVD / familial obligations have somewhat put paid to that notion. Still optimistic of at least finishing one part before end of break, so just to say a quick "thank you" to those still patient enough to follow it. :) :) Okay, I'm getting back to the writing so that I can get that much closer to closure on the fic!
