OMG!!!! Rory dying nearly killed me!!!! I actually cried even though I was watching with my sister who also laughs at me whenever I cry while watching tv.
Karen and Matt really did bring it in those last few scenes. I really have a hard time remembering DT as the Doctor now. Matt is really great. He also looked particularly young in the episode.
Oh, I really hope Rory does come back. He really did grow on me. I hope Moffatt does something great with him!
I usually rewatch DW on a Monday but I could not bring myself too because everytime I even considered it my brain went NOOOO RORY D:. I was crying too, but it was silent thank God and my sister was too busy watching the telly to pay much attention to me *g*.
Me too! I was explaining that to a friend the other day--that Matt so perfectly inhabits the role of the Doctor that I don't really think of any other Doctors when I'm watching it because it's just Matt and his brilliant, beautifully acted alien. And oh my gosh, he really did, didn't he? He's older than me but sometimes I don't believe it.
I am putting my faith in Moff to bring him back, because there is no way on earth that was anything approaching an acceptable ending!
