Non spoilery "Vincent and the Doctor" reaction.

Doctor Who, you have made me cry far more than I would have liked to this series. Please stop now.

Seriously, I cried about this much at Being Human and that's significantly darker and has a ton more depressing moments!

Also, I don't mean it, please keep being awesome and making me emotional <3.

doctor who, television is awesome

I was on the verge of tears for most of it, but then, I am an artist (or in my case, a writer) with depression, so a lot of it was, let's say, uncomfortably close to home. But in a good way, oddly.

I thought it was a really well done portrayal of mental illness. Thankfully, I've never suffered from depression but I know people that have and it reminded me a lot of them--one of my friends had basically the same thing to say about it was you--that it hit home in a good way.

I gotta admit, pretty much from the moment Amy, Vincent and the Doctor all lay down on the ground I was tearing up properly, though there were plenty of moments before that. Extremely emotional episode--I loved it.

ITA with everything you said. I didn't think I was going to like the ep but Vincent changed my mind. The way he was so attuned to Amy's feelings of loss despite the fact that she couldn't remember Rory had me in tears! It didn't help that while I was watching the ep, I kept hearing Don Mclean's Vincent (also Josh Groban's version) in my head. DW has really been awesome this season. I'm predicting I'll be a complete mess when the season ends!
