Extras - British Comedies

I was having a conversation with Chris and Richard on Saturday about British comedies and how hilarious they are. Scott recently purchased a dvd set of Extras. I sat up watching it with him one night and I find it absolutely gut-ripping funny. Current episodes have been on HBO this season, although I think there are one two left. I saw the clip of "Extras" with Patrick Stewart: If that's the kind of comedy to expect from that series I definitely look forward to watching more. :)

Been literally years since I used to talk to you and Scott, but this post got my attention after getting your lj info from KageNeko.
Used to go by "SpiritBlade" on the -old- PvP forums, back in the glory days of 4thWall etc.

Anyhow.. britcoms.. there's many you should probably check out if you like Extras.

Coupling, My Family, Red Dwarf, Chef!, Father Ted, any and all standup by Eddie Izzard, ooh, there's so many more.

If you're curious about other BBC/Brit shows, I can heartily recommend Doctor Who (which I'm sure you've heard of) and Life on Mars (which hardly anyone has, and season 2 just started airing in the UK tonight).

Good to see you and Scott are doing well. Wishing I'd kept in touch the past 6 yrs or so.
