I hear it could kill you with your own shadow, but since it's in Luceti, I don't think that would be a problem. But still, better safe than sorry, right?

I also hear it's responsible for the death of many adventurers, so I imagine it doesn't take too kindly to intruders either.

Generally, it only attacks things that really annoy it, so there shouldn't be any problems if it's left alone.
