I like the same one that you do, especially how the front is cut, and it has layers and movement. But I love the asymmetry of the second one. Maybe a combination?

That's exactly what I was thinking! We'll see. I've got a stylist in mind (she does great short styles from what I can tell) and am just considering the time table now.
