The bruise is starting to surface now... but that is nothing compared to the sharp, stabbing pain I used to get every time I sneezed. Definitely a good trade off!
I did manage to get caught up on my word count for yesterday. Not sure if I'll get my 1,666 words in for today, but I think I can catchup again on Thursday if needed. One thing I've noticed, I'm trying to pad my words without making it look like I'm padding my words. I'm not using lots of adjectives to embellish what's there, but I am using short, choppy, declarative statements a lot more. Usually my writing infers a great deal. Apparently I was a passive aggressive writer prior to this process!
"Strong electrical current"? That sounds... kinda cool. Speaking as one who has accidentally had a few strong electrical currents applied... unintentionally...

I'm ever so slightly ahead on my novel thusfar ("my novel" sounds so pretentious, yet cool!). It's really not very horrifying at all, unless you consider the quality of the writing. The plot has already completely derailed, and I'm sort of wandering around right now. But I'm pushing through! No editing until next month!
