It's all part of the process...

So thanks for putting up with the teaser pic... here is the whole de-long-ification, as documented by my good friend/life coach L:
The first cut is the... funkiest. )

Oh wow, I can't believe that pulla bread is such a hit. I feel weirdly honored XD

The haircut looks great...I wonder if I should cut mine off too...the happiest times in my life I had short hair :P

It's up here in the office right now and everyone is circling around like sharks that have scented blood in the water.

Me too! I think I feel more free and creative with short hair. I tie way too much in to my long hair... it becomes a metaphor for a bunch of stuff.

The hair looks fab!

And may I ask which new workout program? I need something new, I fear. But that's nothing new.

It's The New Rules of Lifting for Women by Lou Schuler. Up until today I've kept a good schedule of workouts. Had to sleep in because of the bread baking last night.

Thanks! I'm really enjoying my Edna Mode bangs.

Love the cut! It's perfect for you. And it's long enough that you could probably turn it into a pair of cute and funky little piggy-tails behind the ears.

Yes, exactly! I think Susan-the-stylist could sense that I really didn't want to go as short as my hand gestures kept saying (right below the ears) and opted for longer layers in front.

Now when I brush the bangs back at night, it's sort of like rediscovering my face. Oh hello!

The hair - it is - fantastic! Seriously, that is a great cut :)

I too, am wondering about your workout program / diet regimen. Any details for the curious?

(especially since forgoing OTB's pulla this year, and opting for "Norwegian Cinnamon rolls"...and consuming the better part of a dozen in half as many days...diet and workout is exactly what I need!)

Heh. Funny story - I actually picked up the wrong book and have been following the wrong program for the last three weeks!

Anyways, the one that I'm doing right now is Lou Schuler's New Rules of Lifting for Women. But the one I was supposed to get based on the recommendation of a blogger I like to follow is Rachel Cosgrove's The Female Body BreakthroughI think Alwyn Cosgrove, who designed the workout portion of the Schuler plan, is married to Rachel Cosgrove... so that's my explanation of why I got the two mixed up in my head ( ... )
