I'll miss ya, but it could be a good thing to do. The steady paycheck is definitely great and the job security is awesome.... and it'll definitely get you into shape and educated. But you also run into the pesky problem of getting shot at and having to take orders that you probably dont' agree with. Just think about it before you commit to it.
True, being shot at will be no fun. But just because I go through infantry training is no guarantee that I will actually see combat in that way. If I can prove myself as a valuable computer person to them, I will be worth more on US soil, managing systems, than in Iraq or wherever. Only 20% or so of the army gets deployed to actual shoot-at-you zones, from what I've read.

I could also do this one but the first one seems more what I'm into.
Free housing, Free meals, They pay for college later if I decide to go, I dunno, I'm seeing no negatives and all positives.
