South Dakota set to sign abortion ban law - only life-saving terminations exempt

How can anybody with a sister, or daughter, or mother, or wife, possibly be in favour of a piece of legislation banning almost all abortions, INCLUDING pregnancies which are the product of rape or incest? While I may not be one of the pro-life crowd myself, I still understand their point of view and respect their position - but has any one of them

What is with this white old rich overwieght men who seem to think it's ok to mess with the rights of women? It's ridicolous and even more so that there are some women out there so blinded and belittled by these men that they can say "jump" and the women say "how high?"

The bill needs just one amendment.

Every child born as the result of this bill will be immediately adopted, no questions asked, no backing out, regardless of origin, medical condition, gender, race, or criminal background of the father, by a member of the legislature who voted for the bill.

The children will be given to the legislators in order of seniority.
