My daughter dragonblink has been best friends with triskellion and 12and21 since they were all in junior high together. They joined forces with two other friends and started calling themselves the Infamous Five, or I5 for short.
Years later, Blinkie started writing in LJ and let me know about it (which is an amazing leap of trust that I still would never contemplate with my mom) and I noticed that she occasionally wrote about me in it.
Thus, when I posted a comment before I had an LJ of my own, I would always sign it as "the infamous Mom." It seemed like an appropriate name to use when I finally took the LJ plunge myself.
