I heard this on the radio and I agree it's a load of BS, I don't see how any parent can let a child get to that stage without noticing.

In other news, were you at Granville station early this morning? 7:45ish? I swear I saw you, I even said hello!

Oh god, that's a worry.

This reminds me of those annoying Mathemagic Computer Tutor ads on the radio where the parents are painted as dimwits, all this complicated mathematics stuff that their kids are learning at school is just too hard for them ("fractions? that's like halves and thirds right?"), and if they buy the product then the computer will take care of their kids for them. Sadly this picture is all too true.
