My main suggestion is that while the case looks nice, the USB slots are at the bottom of the case. Which isn't bad if you don't have to plug anything into them on a regular basis. You might want to look for some that are located higher up on the front of the case if they will see regular use. My company not too long ago bought a bunch of theses:

Which is a bit expensive, although a nice case overall. The USB slots at the top are amazing if you use a flash drive.

I do like the look and USB arrangement of thermaltake, my main complaint is that they are tedious to get power supplies into. They have a bar going across the upper section that is very much in the way of everything.
Most likely, this computer won't be getting a lot of flash drive action anyways.

Actually, for that particular model it isn't that bad getting the power supply in. There is the bar going across, but it's fairly easy to unscrew (I should know, we did about 10 of those machines total). The nicest thing was how little that particular case weighed. It's incredibly light. But that probably isn't important for what you're doing. And if you don't need to use the USB slots for a flash drive, the case you have picked out should be fine.

The 8600 has serious issues running DX10. Every review I've read says that the 8800 is worth the (admittedly huge) price point jump, if you plan to use Vista's only real selling point.
