They've blocked livejournal finally at work.

I suppose it was inevitable, but still, it does make the sense of social isolation feel very complete.

No AIM, No LJ, No IM of anykind, sort of blows.

Damn...that sucks. There was once talk about blocking web access at our workplace, but given that I know/am part of the IT department...I'm pretty sure I could avoid having my stuff blocked.

2 things. Have you tried Gaim? It's like trillian, but webbased. Used to get past our IM blocks, because it's browser based.

Part the second of browser based tomfoolery…. Install Logmein on your home computer, and remote in from the browser Logmein.com

I work at a law firm, with a very VERY scary IT Business Continuity team. I haven't heard a word yet.

Logmein doesn't connect where I work, I actually have it set up.
I'll try Gaim though.
