I have bitten my tongue and put away my quill for a while concerning this but for some reason it just gets to me. It does. Well beyond a minor annoyance. What the fuck is with hollywood and the hack, assembly-line, pseudo-romantic, soulless authors these days

Thy culinarily inspired repartee doth fill me with mirth, my witty friend, just as it also reminds me of a particular episode of South Park. I do not claim to understand the vampire thing either (or teenage girls, for that matter).

I only saw a second of that SouthPark... I think they were saying something about wearing glitter? I can understand people having vampiric attributes, but beyond that is a mess of pop-culture and capitalist Hollywood vagary gone wrong. And I guess you're right. Teen girls mixed with anything probably ends the same. =)

In any case, I'm glad you enjoyed the recipe! Incidentally, they go well with a nice cold glass of Pepto-Bismol.
