I always write these huge ranty responses to these posts of yours and I always delete them before posting. You'd think I'd have learned my lesson by now ;)

A lot of sad-but-true there. I'll be voting Democrat tomorrow, not because I like any of the candidates (at least one of them is downright shady), but because I seriously dislike many of the things their opponents espouse.

This has been a crappy campaign season, and I'll be glad when it's over. I don't know what it's like elsewhere, but here it's been nothing but mudslinging on both sides. When you actually listen to the debates and read up on the candidates, they're the same on SO MANY of the issues. Which is disheartening, almost enough to keep me away from the polls. Almost. But not quite.
