Liberal asshole youth protesters

Watching about 5 minutes of misguided white middle class youth protesting various political targets is enough to make me physically sick.

Note to potential protestors:

You don't live in a policed state.

If you did live in a policed state, you would be shot on the spot as opposed to being asked nicely repeatedly by a police officer to move.

If we didn't live in a policed state, there would be no police. Dear jebus do I hope that doesn't ever happen. Just because there isn't martial law doesn't mean we don't live in a police state.

That said, there's a big difference between a peaceful protest and a violent one. Ones where people vandalize and commit battery are not peaceful protests. Then again, because one or two jerkfaces are being, well, criminals, that doesn't mean that everyone else in the crowd, or everyone else who believes what they believe, is.

Just because Obama currently lives in IL does not mean he's a "cook county machine politician." His links to Rezko are pretty weak, compared to McCain's links to Keating during the S&L scandal.

The problem with crowds rebuking the bad apples is the mob mentality, which doesn't generally provide for people not going with the flow. In fact, it does quite the opposite.

As for a "police state," I was referring to the US constitution, which gives specific "police powers" to the "states." Crazy!
