It's a fair cop, I suppose. My first stop at the library is usually to the sciences, though. (Pretty thin on the ground in our small-ish regional library, but I order in quite a bit from surrounding libraries).

It's more complimentary in its description than I'd describe myself... yes, I do also have the figurative warts we all bear.

*waits for gasps of disbelief - is met with the sound of... crickets chirping from afar...*

As to enjoying life - my philosophy is that, as sucky as it can be at times, in most cases it beats the alternative, so we should make the most of it while we can. There's nearly always a few positives to be found even on your worst days. Find them and use them to help you get through the negatives.

Laughing at myself for stating the bleeding obvious is one of my regulars.
