I love this! My only complaint is that it was too short, because I love your Master POV and could read loads more than you've got here, lol! I would very much like to see more of this - the Master is such a complex character and (despite the terrible things he does)there is a kind of sympathy to him as well...

And thanks to you I've discovered some new and wonderful music - had never heard of Ludovico Einaudi before but was curious and looked him up...so thank you! I always recommend the group Within Tempation, specifically their album 'The Force Within' - not only is it wonderful music but it can also be read as very Doctor/Master if you're in that mindset...

Thank you! I find it very difficult to see him as a true villain because he's so sympathetic. Even with everything he does, so I know what you mean.

Brilliant music, isn't it? One of a number of albums that go under the heading of 'my writing music' lol. I've heard bits and pieces of Within Temptation before and quite liked them, so I'll have to make a point of checking them out again.

As to more writing: I'm thinking of doing a follow-up to this, Master's PoV again, to look into how he got from this to letting himself die in LoTL. Plus, you know, a whole host of other oneshots circling around my head and making me more than a little crazy.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed, thanks for commenting :-)

<3.

Was curious, and since you mentioned you were writing something, decided to poke around in your journal...and am very happy I did. ^.^ Don't worry, it makes lots and lots of sense (unlike the opener for my first chapter, I'm told. =A= ).

*goes to find more of your stuff*

Very nice- especially some of the repetitive structures you've got here. It really recalls the drumbeats.

The structure partly just sort of happened of its own accord, and was partly to show just how all-pervasive the drums are for him. I have a little follow-up now! Should be posted up as soon as I've read through it again to check it makes sense. I wanted to address how he got from being utterly insistent about not leaving and not letting the Doctor leave in this, to letting himself die at the end of LotTL.

Anyway, thanks for commenting! Glad you enjoyed :-)
