I thought about you today, which is some 30 days after you posted this. In part because I've been helping someone out, keeping them calm and that, and it reminded me of talking to you online so many nights. That and I saw someone who looked a lot like you, at least from my car.

I see that you made this post yesterday. I think being so far away has kept me well out of the loop of things. I've been thinking about you for the past couple days and part of that, I will admit, is because of LJ here telling me that you have a birthday coming up.

The majority of my thinking about you lately is the fact that you are an awesome friend and have gone out of your way for one of my birthdays in the past. In fact, I still use the present you got for me. I'm not sure if I thanked you properly for it. But I still use it to this day. It's like my most cherished birthday present because it is so practical for me. :)

One of these years, I wish to see you get a b-day present from me. Though, I think we'll have to do a better job of staying in touch and up to date with each other. You have been missed all these years since I left Marquette and hope you know that you have loving friends.
