[Every time he thinks he's figured this stupid technology out, something else happens. He's spent a while tinkering with his bow -- even had to make a second trip to get more arrows since his own break when he tries to fire them -- but today, he's going to spend a while practicing somewhere he can actually practice.

[He stalks over and props the target back up, cursing all the while.]

Damned thing isn't supposed to pull like that.

My old bow didn't do this; this thing... this stupid thing draws differently. It's messing with my aim.

You need a better target.

Yeah, I know I do. This was handy, though, so I'm using this.

[He looks over at the target.]

Well, I'm trying to use this, anyway.

[Sasori considers something for a moment]

It doesn't need too much adjusting... though it might be easier for you to start from scratch.

I'm sure I could find something better than a chair, in any case.

Back home, I'd use a bale of hay; drape some cloth or something to mark it, and it's a good target. Nice and flammable, too.

Mark one up to being lazy, I guess.

Yeah, and if Link had to deal with a bow that eases the tension off at full draw, he'd have problems, too. Just you wait. Once I get the hang of this thing, I'll show you how good of a shot I am.

[He draws again -- if he wasn't so frustrated, the way the bow eases off on the draw weight would be something really good, but right now it's just another pain -- and fires at the target, not caring that it's knocked over.]

Stupid thing's making me overcorrect.

I think it is. This thing looks like a longbow had a kid with a hookshot or something. All these cables and pulleys.

Like I said, this thing doesn't need much to hold it at full draw; I'm used to having to pull so much harder than this. I think that's the problem.

[Dark sighs and holds up his bow; yay for modern compound bows.] Have you ever fired one of these before?
