I’m sitting here with a machine that has 5 gigs of pornography, and in my head he’s working on saving his flocks souls from eternal damnation. I think I lost this little battle.

Actually, he's probably not thinking much about saving flocks of souls--given that he is a pastor. What he is most likely doing is immersing himself in some version of the Bible, construed through English, taking mindless notes without a purpose, so that he blots out any sense of alarm he has about the inherent paradox of being a pastor:

on the one hand, he has to be intensly arrogant to believe that God has taken a moment to deliver unto him The Call to be a divine Mouthpiece; and on the other hand, he has to be humble and contrite because he serves That Which Summoned Him.

I have no idea if he is really a pastor, I don't even know if he is a teacher, or elderly student. And as for pastor...

Preacher, Reverend, Father, Deacon, Bishop... All the same to this Jew. The only one that I know that is different is the pope, and that's cause he has that cool hat.
