I’m in a different starbucks, about 10 miles east of the one I normally sit in. This one is right off the aorta of Florida, I-95, and Hollywood Boulevard. I’ve always compared this area to L.A. where the women the money the attitude, the whole fabulocity of the scene about 80% of what L.A.’s is. Of course the heat is higher so we get credit for

Most coffeehouses discourage cubano's. They're bad for the machine, since the sugar actually goes directly into the portafilter with the espresso.
Of course, now that I think about it, some places wouldn't even be able to make them if they wanted because of the way the espresso machines work (a good portion of starbucks use full automatic espresso machine, which means you wouldn't even be able to tamp sugar into the espresso, as the machine does the grinding and tamping for you).

I'm fairly sure that I just did that comment for myself. I don't think it's decipherable by anybody but a barista....
