More Ubernerddom for you

Inspired by a Fark Thread, this is now how I sleep at night.

Star Trek did not happen in the normal universe. This is what happens when you go dicking around with time.

Ok Marty McFly, sit back and let me explain this to you.

When Kirk stole his uncles (Yup, uncle) corvette, he played the Beastie Boys Sabotage

This was not mood music played over the scene, he picked it from the Nokia Music player, that song exists in his universe.

Sabotage was released on Ill Communication, which came out in 1994.

Per "Space Seed" the SS Botany Bay was launched in the 1990s. While it does not give a year we can assume the Eugenics wars were going on during 1994.

In any Eugenics wars, white boy rappers are the first against the wall.

In the normal TOS universe, the Beastie Boys were one hit wonders, with "Fight for your right" one of the greatest albums in history Pauls Boutique was not released and of course Kaaaahnnnnnn,.

So what happened?

Kirk and Spock of Course.

In Star Trek IV: The voyage home, they go back in time to 1986 and give that punk kid on the bus the Vulcan neck pinch.

Admit it, you cheered.

Some how that changed history, that kid was instrumental in not only stopping the Eugenics Wars, but inspired the Beastie Boys to release something more then annoying white boy rap.

My theory is that Spock who had just died accidentally mind melded with that boy, and showed him what history would be like with Kahn. That boy not only stopped the Eugenics wars but somehow furthered the Beastie Boys Careers.

Besides how else can you explain this?

Your knees'll start shaking and your fingers pop
Like a pinch on the neck of Mr. Spock
