Cutting my hands up everytime I touch you.
OMG! I just completed Shadow Hearts: Covenant which I have been playing obsessively for the past week. Heee! Here be uber spoilers.
This is easily one of the best games I have played in such a long time. The length for a start. It took me a good 50+ hours and I didn't even complete every single side quest that was open. I did most of them but I got bored and wanted to see the ending. Heh.
It reminds me a lot of FF-X at times, with the whole fusions thing, but it's very unique with the combo system and the judgement ring. Plus the story is just so epic. It's like, you think you know what's going to happen and who the big enemy is and then it turns everything upside down and starts again. So awesome. It's nice that all the characters get serviced a little too. Obviusly Yuri and Karin getting the most screen time. Ashame Nicolai had to die and in such a brutal fashion, I liked him. ;_; heh.
One of my only grievances is that the final boss is so friggin easy. Killed him in my first turn with a 10,000 hit combo from Jutendouji and Dark Seraphim plus Seventh Ring. *cackle*
The ending is all kinds of omg. Karin is Yuri's mother?!?!?!?!?!? Now it all makes sense. The reason why you couldn't look at the picture and it didn't appear in your inventory plus the reason why Saki was so insistent that Karin loved Yuri. I was literally shouting at the tv when it was revealed. Heh. I really like that Yuri and Alice got to be together aswell (I chose the good ending) and that Yuri went back in time to the point where he met Alice because that's when he was most happy. Aww! The cards at the end are adorable aswell, Anastasia and Kurando <3 So cyutte.
Now I need a new game *sigh* And one that's just as good... Hurry up Kingdom Hearts 2!!
