HELP! I'm hoping to go volunteer at a garden in the UK for three months starting in April. I'd like to contact the garden to arrange this, but am absolutely useless at writing letters that actually communicate what I need to communicate at an appropriate level of formality. Trust me people will like direct! Though putting "and" between university and interested in place of the ". I am" might give it a better flow.

I always like to make the "Thank You" sound more personal.
"Thank you for your time"
"I appreciate your help"
Ect. Ect.
