Sad. There's nobody to come dancing with me tonight. *pouts*

I am cold and do not want to see a Manchurian walnut for a long while. I spent far too long raking up far too many leaves from it, and came back two hours later to have just as many leaves on the ground as when I started.

Not sure if I know what a Manchurian walnut is, but I get the whole leaves always coming down thing. I once decided it was my duty to get rid of all the pine needles on our driveway at home. My parents pointed out it was useless, and shortly afterwards I figured out they were right and stopped. Is it your job to clean up the leaves from this tree, or is it just so the leaves don't drive you crazy?

I'm the intern at a garden and the tree covers our nursery. The leaves secrete a toxin that would kill the baby plants if I didn't pick them up, and we like to keep the paths clear so people don't slip on wet leaf mould so I get to rake, as well.

Dude, that sucks. Why don't they just get rid of the trees in the nursury or plan the baby plants somewhere else, then? It seems like a ridiculous amount of work, having the two together.
