So I talked to a friend I havent talked to in years. It was really good talking to her again. However a subject came up about people we have lost and it just happened she lost her father the same month I lost mine last year. It kind of opened the floodgate. Needless to say, if im snappy, bitchy, grumpy, or otherwise piss you off in some way, please

Yeah it sucks man, I always find myself getting bitchy in mid-February for the same reason.

It's been over 10 years since I lost my father, but I'm still affected by it. You might say I was shaped by it. So I fully understand. ::hugs::

Fair enough, but after the few days are up I fully expect to be able to hold your snappy, bitchy, grumpy and piss-off-ishness against you once again, since it *does* happen to be a favorite pass-time of mine.

But hang in there. Remember that at the end of the day, you have a lot of friends who are willing to act like complete and utter assholes to just to make you feel better that you're not nearly as stupid and unreasonable as we are. (at least that's my excuse and I am sticking with it!)
