He was special.

Excellent.

He was sure of it.

His umma said so every day when she picked him up from school and brought him t the SME building for training (he ignored the nostalgic glimmer in her eyes; that was for appa to worry about).

And of course, it couldn't be forgotten that he'd been picked by SM entertainment to be a talent, to be a ( Read more... )

Oh, that was just hard and painful, portraying a boy who has no self-worth to speak of and dang, that just stabs right to your heart. I love this, especially your good use of the italics and when to use it. Even the way you broke up the paragraphs gives the right sense of drama to the flow. Three thumbs up, if I had three thumbs! *drags Junsu over* There, four thumbs now!

Ah~ thank you. This... it's depressing, I know (and honestly... I thought i did a crap job with it, but I guess I didn't?).

This however, is the impression I get from him. Junsu.. you know, the members always seem to drop hints of him having low self-esteem and.. this is what happens when Junsu meets the seven deadly sins. Well... actually, you'll see that later on.

oooh, I love your comments bb. Seriously, I adore your opinions. ^^ ~<3.

Anyways, Junsu, in my head, has low self-esteem. Look at interviews 'n stuff... I swear, the members drop hints all the time. And even though they tease him, have you ever noticed the care they take? Like it's almost apologetic?

Omo~ maybe I'm just fangirling too hard, but that's what I see.

(and the recent-ish bigeast ep where in toho psychology they had the question with who do you meet in the forest after a long walk? and Junsu said god, but then immediately said "I wasn't thinking about killing myself" when he found out it's what you see yourself as... do you know what I'm talking about? T.T I'm morbid and depressing and rambling, sorry]

Anyways, thanks for reading <3

haha why? my comment is so simple and sometimes i can't think of anything sufficient to say, blehh.
but oh yes junsu is always so modest you know? he has great potentials though. he can sing so perfectly and dance so well at the same time. yoochun is sweet to junsu (: and changmin too. of course i still think they tease him too much sometimes, you can see the uneasiness in his face xD
i haven't heard the most recent big east, what number is it? :D hahaha...ohh everyone has their emo mode (:

yes, but it's simple and honest, and lovely ^^ <3.

And Junsu just lets them tease him too, even when he doesn't like it T.T... I think... it was one of the 10- somethings i think

I dunno, it's in that mega post that sparksey put up on dbsg a couple days ago. Argh, so unhelpful am I.

This reminds me of all the times where he's said that his voice broke...for THREE YEARS. THREE FRIKKIN' YEARS. If my doctor told me I couldn't sing--the dream I'd had for years, the voice of an angel I'd once had, I'd probably do the same thing.
You illustrated that so perfectly well, and even though it's a drabble...like...thing, it just portrays it so wonderfully...horribly? Idk, just...really, REALLY well-written.

ah~ I'm so flattered ^///^ *flaps around*

that was the time period i was writing about actually and well, i was a little surprised at this piece because I wasn't very happy with it when I wrote it; i didn't think I'd captured the emotion the way i wanted it, but i'm very glad that you... enjoyed?... my portrayal of his desperation.
