It doesn't necessarily have to be an ocean. A sea would do just as well to have one.

However, I'm just not sure quite how far this body of water near the seaport goes.

We've had earthquakes like this before, but they've never meant anything good, so it would be best to be on our guard and keep a good stock of supplies, just in case.

As for a tsunami, I don't think the lake is large enough for something like that. At least, I hope not.

I concur.

I was thinking of perhaps investigating the town a little bit more sometime this week. Although my arm is damaged, I'd still like to conduct some sort of field view. Would you like to come with me, Professor Layton?

Certainly. I know the layout of this city quite well from the investigations I've conducted, but it would still be nice to have some company.

Excellent. I'll make sure to bring my--well, you can call him my assistant.

I've made sort of a make-shift sling for it; I'm not too worried about it. If it starts to heal improperly, I'll make sure to see a doctor immediately, though. For now, it should be fine.
