I had some of the same thoughts when a friend recently told me that MN is in a "drought." I thought "but the humidity outside is treacherous! Can't the plants, etc just suck the water right from the air?"

Watching paint dry in high humidity conditions will take longer than watching grass grow, because paint drys more slowly when it's really humid.
