It's frickin' cold!
It's cold. Has been cold. Yesterday, the cold added a new twist.
Snow with the cold. Not enough to actually seriously cover the ground (no snowball fights, no snowmen. Such is the sad state of E. TN snow), but it was certainly enough to put an inch of ice on the road to our house.
We managed (after an hour or so, slips and slides and several exhortations to my own personal deity/ies) to get the vehicles parked more or less out of harm's way and walked the 100 feet or so to our door.
It melted today, but Richard took an incident from work. It didn't melt until about 4ish, so he couldn't have gotten out. Ice rinks on wheels is NOT a good thing.
I'm thinking of this.
