Yeesh! I'm sorry to hear about that, DZ0. Makes me appreciate Thursday a lot more (but still not Friday. I'll never appreciate a broken computer.) Seriously, that's terrible. I hope you're recovering swiftly.
When your friends are "in-the-know" as far as food and work are concerned, it's best to take their advice.
Feel better, DZ0.
(Can't help with the phone situation. I'm the only one in my house who ever puts it back where it belongs ;).)
I like that second clause, does indeed feel like it'd even things out. An it's a basement apartment too so all the less worry. Not that your landlord would apparently complain ^_

Do you know what causes food poisoning? it is not the bacteria on said food that does it. . .well. . .it is, but there's more to that. If you cook said bad food, the bacteria will pop and let out all their disgusting poisonous toxins all over the food so when you eat it, it's basically like eating poison. Also, Microwaving MIGHT stop them from popping, but it turns the smart multiplying bacteria into stupid, radiation-deformed multiplying bacteria. :p The time range for eating food that's been out is only 4 hours. after that, if it hasn't been frozen or cooked, it's bacteria level is severely unsafe for consumption :-= I have as many food handler certifications as a ninja has shruikens :-=
