I am still here, and I am also still a functional, living human being. Why don't I post more often? Simple, it takes a lot of effort. The way my depression works, I find it hard to motivate myself to do things that only have marginal interest in that require effort. It's a daily struggle. I have a lot of time with my thoughts these days,

Was posted in an email from the Kalamazoo College Office of Communication in their (I think monthly) email about "K in the News, under the "blogs" section. It is sent to all Kalamazoo College employees. They use some kind of software of spider that collects all instances of the phrase "Kalamazoo College" it can find.

How about finding a volleyball group somewhere instead of trying to motivate yourself into doing something you don't like to do? You bemoaned the loss of volleyball, didn't you?
