minding my own business, i jump on the tube at highgate. sitting down on the end seat, i remove a book from my bag and start to read. when suddenly, a strange black lady manically holding a beat up black covered bible in her hands, jumps up

that's super excellent. once i was waiting for dolly at a tottenham court road bus stop, reading manga, and some little woman came up with a jehova's witness book and said 'would you like some more reading material?'

i said, "no, i'm an uncultured swine"

"but you're reading comics..."

"i'm just looking at the pretty pictures."

usually, i take their pamphlets and hand them out at slimelight. but i think she was probably going to charge me for the book.

i usually get the christian ones. whenever i go anywhere with john, we get hare krishna people. they always say the same things and we give the same replies. its quite disturbing, :s

i get the hare kirshnas all the time, too. back when i worked at virgin, every saturday, they'd all stand outside th entrance to the store from the tube station and sing loudly for an hour.

oh! and last month when i was walking to slimelight, i heard a lot of honking. i turned to look at the road, and a white transit van full of hare krishnas were singing and playing their instruments AT ME. when the light went green, they pulled into the middle of the intersection and sat there singing, holding up traffic for a few minutes.

i think sat is the hare krishna holiday/festival thing. i went to their temple once in tottenham crt rd. they kept asking me to convert every 5 minutes (in between the dancing and singing)

religious people love weirdos. its becasue they feel we need to be saved from ourselves. where they got that idea from is beyond me, :)
