My friend that I'm always in the darkroom with found out something really helpful.
Stick some cellophane underneath the lens of the enlarger to make the image softer.

neat idea. I've put cellophane over my paper, which looks kinda weird but not over the lens.

i tried it last time and it worked pretty good. i gave my picture a very dreamy feeling..i liked it. i usually don't like any fog filters.

Diffusing! Plastic bags also work well.
