Though I'm not one to go all out on someone in a rage of anger- a comment on my art is causing me to practically toss a table out the window and scream.
I know I'm not the best drawer. I NEVER said I was. I know my art needs improvement, which is why I slightly put down most of my mistakes and try to improve on them.
But some bitch went off and said my art was "grotesque" (She thinks I'm such a 'child' that I don't even know what that word means) and that my characters "lack asses" (In other words, I don't draw the sexy kind of figure she fuckin' desires to see in everything)
She even said: "Stop drawing because it's horrible."
....That's not a critical review- it's a fuckin' bashing of my drawing skills. If she was trying to tell me how to draw better, then she should have chose better words other then being a blind eyed bitch who thinks that she is so good that she deserves to put down others lower then her.
It's her opinion, I know- but she said it to me like I was stupid or something! If she thought my art was bad, then all she had to do was keep it to herself and move on. Turns out she draws porn and prefers art where a girl actualy has a big ass, well good for her.
I DON'T CARE IF MY ART DOESN'T HAVE WHAT YOU WANT, NOT EVERYONE DRAWS THAT KIND OF STUFF. If a character doesn't have the right kind of thing you want , like how you want them to be a slut, then that suddenly makes that person's art grotesque?
I said that I don't really get what she was trying to say, and I don't care. (But of course, she misinterprets this into me saying that I "Don't know what an ass is" and so treats me like an idiot)
....I would confront this girl about it myself, but you know what? Suddenly, every girl these days thinks they're so smart that if they are sent a message about how mean they were, they just have to be a smartass bitch about it- ignoring that fact that they were being rude.
And these days, RUDE=COOL!
So why should I bother, knowing she's going to be a smart ass about it?
...I may sound like I'm being a bitch here too, but I can't help it. It's how she treated me when she told me this that annoys me. She treated me as if I was a sheltered girl who knows nothing about erotic stuff.
When I merely said "My art is grotesque?" (Merely because I was just trying to make sure that's what she was trying to say.)
She said"I'm sorry, do you need a dictionary?"
...*Sigh* So you guys could hate me for all I want for ranting about what she said, that she was merely 'stating her opinion' but even if it was an opinion, she sure had a fancy way of putting it.
....I rant to put out my feelings, and I know no one would read this, or care to- so what I want to say outloud is merely put down here where no one could find it.
