RIP Ed Bradley

Back in the days when I wanted to be a journalist, Ed Bradley was one of the reasons. He was a true gentleman, always classy, intelligent; in another era he would have been described approvingly as a "race man".  Although they didn't look anything alike, he always reminded me of my father. He will be sorely missed.

That is sad news. There are too few good reporters and news presenters like him around these days; an end of an era.

I haven't watched 60 Minutes or any CBS news in years, but back when I did, he was always my favorite. He truly had class, and I am sorry to see him go.
