I'm loading the Jack/Carly Dark Signer duel right now (points to icon, finally found some good Jack/Carly icons!) because I really hate Crow now, and that is making me regret spending so much time watching this series.
I need to remember the good parts. Geez, writers, how did you screw up so badly? I don't even know why I hate it so much! Or rather, I don't know what I hate most. Crow's handmade D-Wheel? Oh, he got it from some guy. His cards? Some guy. I hated the fact he wasn't Badass Normal anymore because of the Signer mark, and I would've much rather had episodes about him.... I dunno, angsting that he never does anything useful as a Signer and going on a quest to find his dragon. Or something. And then getting a dragon that also looks like the one from Ruka's vision! I didn't give a damn about Pearson, or moe Crow crying over him. Season 3 wasn't nearly as good as 2, but it was never that bad. At least Crash Town only messed with a character I didn't care about. Kiryu got it bad, though. When his memorable trait was his really awesome evil laugh, and he gets turned into a complete emotionless suicidal robot... that's not going to make sense. Also NO ONE ELSE REMEMBERS BEING A DARK SIGNER. RAWR. GIVE ME MORE CARLY EPISODES.
Freaking show. I was getting into episode 108, too. Maybe the upside-down Yusei-D-Wheel-fetus-cocoon-thing will be interesting. (and not kill 94 episodes worth of characterization) I was even okay with Crow getting downgraded to Jack's partner in comic relief! It was respectable comic relief! And Jack's already confessed his love to Carly, so I'm not worried about shippers. Crow's got to get with Aki, too. (ahahaha, did I ever mention that Aki is the only one of the main cast who remembers having parents? XD That's a horrible thing to laugh at, but geez Japan, you love orphans. Plus all of Crow's bazillion orphan kids that he looks after)
It's only been a day since the last post, so nothing interesting really. Went to town today. Hung out with mcrwayperfect09, who may or may not ever see LJ ever again. XD Bought a cool book about animated feature movies. The first animated feature was The Adventures of Achmed in 1926, and it was directed by a woman! And I will hold onto that thought instead of remembering the pointless 3 episodes of 5Ds whose existence I will henceforth deny.
EDIT!!!: I got a Pixiv account (with the intention of looking for Jack/Carly until realized I could look for JouMai) and found JouMai stuff! 8D Not that much, but still! JouMai stuff! 8D I love Google Chrome's automatic translator so much! <3
Here's a few, I'll get to uploading the rest later. ^^;;
